Music in the church at Walsham le Willows Open Gardens weekend, August 2023

Angels Delight contributed greatly to the success of the 41^st annual Walsham le Willows Open Gardens event over the 2023 August Bank Holiday and local people and visitors alike were charmed by their ‘Music for the Summer’ and by their ‘Folk Songs of the British Isles’ sets on both days. They added to the ambience that was created inside our lovely St Mary’s Church which was host to the Art Exhibition and Floral Display that forms a major part of the event as a whole. About 2000 people visited Walsham over the two days and enjoyed 35 gardens and public spaces, remarkable lunches and teas in two locations in the village, a Pizza and BBQ experience, a Village Market, Brass Bands, a bar and much more. They all left expressing huge admiration for the way the event is organised and presented and confirming that it is not just ‘Gardens’ that they had enjoyed. We are sure that many of them will be back next year for more and we would sincerely hope that Angels Delight would honour us with a return performance as well AND we hope Adriene will bring some more of her artwork to enhance the exhibition and sale.
